New English School is a renowned educational institution that was established in 1968. The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can grow and develop into responsible, confident, and successful individuals.

Our vision is to build a model that can be effectively implemented in diverse communities and sustained on public funding. Over the long term, we seek to have permanent, large-scale, and transformative impact by influencing the policies and public systems that serve children and families.

School Journey

The school which was designed as a ground for building academic excellence commenced operation on 21st September 1968. At inception, there were only two pupils who were aged two and three years respectively; and two academic staff. The second and third terms of the session witnessed a remarkable improvement in pupils’ enrolment as the number moved to seventy eight (78) with staff strength increasing to ten (10). From this humble start, the school continues to grow in leaps and bounds.
